Take a look at the armor chapter, Ephesians chapter six and you will see that the bulk of the chapter is behavioral oriented:

Mother and fathers are different, children are different, employees and employers are different. We are all at different places in our understanding and wisdom. Each of our situations are different.
The important thing is this: Our armor is a living thing. It grows as we grow. The more obstacles we overcome the stronger and more effective our armor becomes. It flexes and fits us like a superhero's does!
*Isaiah 28:10 He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!”
*John 15:2 He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.
*II Peter 1:5 -7 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
