It's the start of a new year. We set goals and make resolutions. We want to loose weight, be blessed financially, physically and spiritually. Setting goals and plans are not bad things in and of themselves. After all if we have no goals or plans we won't do anything!
The trouble comes when we approach things without humility, or being poor in spirit. We must realize our need for the Lord desperately in every thing we do. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, comforter and helper and all we have to do is come to the Lord in prayer, with childlike faith.
*Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
*Isaiah 2:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little.”
