Listening With Our Eyes -The Importance Of Eye-Contact

It sounds strange to think about listening with our eyes and yet we must.  Here is what I mean. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.*(John 4:23)  Jesus said that He is The Way, The Truth and The Life and that no one could come to the Father except by Him.*(John 14:6) He also said that the words that He speaks are spirit and life to us!* (John 6:63)

We must be able to see the word. We can "see" it in many ways.  Blind people can see with their fingers if they can read braille or hear it spoken with conviction by someone "who walks the talk."  The deaf can read or hopefully learn how to sign. For the rest of us we can read and study the Word.

Our heavenly Father is looking for us.  He beacons us to come to Him!  He loves us so much and He wants us to make eye contact with Him. He wants us to deeply into His eyes like a bride to her bride groom and we do this by, seeking the Lord through prayer and the word of God! *Hebrews 11:6)

*John 4:23 “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

*John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

*John 6:63“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

*Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
