Response Required

Luke 13:10 -13 NIV  On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,
and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your infirmity."Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

Can't you just picture it?

Jesus sees a poor woman crippled with an infirmity for 18 years!
He wanted to heal her, but notice.. he required something of her.
He called her to him, now she was faced with a decision.
I wonder did she think, "Do I step closer or stay here?"
For sure her condition depended on her response!

Is God dealing with you about something? Writing that letter, sending that card, making that phone call. Perhaps giving up a bad habit?   Do you sense a "Do it!  Do it Do it!" going on in your heart? What's stopping you? God calls us out of our comfort zone so He can do something wonderful in our lives.  Fear stops us in our tracks, like a dear caught in the head lights. But faith, on the other hand requires a response.  What are you waiting for?

Acknowledge Him in all of your ways and He will direct your paths.
Pray about it and if that sensation is "do it!", as long as it lines up with the word of God.... do it!
